[ And hold onto him she will! Her arm hooks through his, and her hands come to rest on his bicep with a comfortable ease. ... just don't take the way her face heats up as a bad thing. Because it's not!! She hugs him all the time!! But this is different-!!!
She giggles, a touch nervous, but mostly giddy. ] Sounds good! I'm getting hungry just thinking about everything. [ How much is she going to stuff her face on this date? Only time will tell. ] We really gotta try all the hamburger places eventually.
[ That's... probably a multi-date venture though. Their poor stomachs. ]
[ As much as touching is part of this world—Keitaro got red in the face over it plenty, for his share—this is certainly different than serving daily necessities. It doesn't help the flush of his cheeks even when he was the one to offer his arm to Natsuno. They really are just two teenagers on their first date; the possibilities of a world without Deimos. ]
A-ah, I'm glad!
[ However, Keitaro can hide a smile as little as the blushing. Just how many hours did he spend thinking about the contents of their date!? Between coming up with some idea and then questioning whether it was appropriate, he ended up with something heart-felt... His relief over Natsuno liking the same idea is earnest. ]
Um, I suppose we'll have to adjust a little because of the weather but...
[ He'd decided on this part of Solarpeak, originally, because of the many shops extending their sales outside. As Keitaro looks down the street a few of them have retreated with the sudden rain, but their doors should remain open. He adjusts the umbrella in his hand. Fitting together under it's relatively small cover makes them stand even closer; and if the sudden rain should cool down the atmosphere, Keitaro's bright red cheeks should still keep the warmth.
The sidewalks have gone from soaking up the raindrops to retaining a wet film across the entire street, enough so that the lights from behind the display windows reflect on the ground. ]
Let's head this way, shall we?
[ Up first should be a small café. However, even at a passing glance inside the lace seems pretty full... ]
this tag (belatedly) brought to you by a friend's honeymoon in japan
[ Though she absolutely has the energy to bolt off ahead, she sticks by his side faithfully, separating only to step around the puddles Keitaro himself doesn't steer them away from. And even then, she ends up tucked back beside him each time, with a bright smile that betrays her happiness.
... which drops ever-so-slightly when they reach the first cafe on the list, only to find there's no open seating. But again, she's not about to let that rain on her parade date! So back outside they go, and off to the next place on Keitaro's list.
She's mid-reassurance ] That's okay! There's always- [ when she notices something out of the corner of her eye. Is that- ]
- a space ship?!
[ Yep. There's a dessert cart that looks like a spaceship if you squint, selling space-themed treats like milky way milkshakes, macarons decorated like various moons and planets, and ice cream mochi shaped like the cutest green aliens.
She's practically sparkling with delight when her gaze finally turns back to her date. ] Let's check it out!
